Pat McKinzie, owner of McKinzie Tours, has been in the convention and tour industry in Kansas City since 1976. She began as a local guide for "Guys and Gals," the original Kansas City convention service company. As tour coordinator, Pat handled training and scheduling for the staff of guides and coordinated tours for many large conventions. She continued this work later for Crown Tours, and in 1985 became director of the City of Olathe Parks and Recreation Department Travel Program, which featured local and extended trips. In 1988, McKinzie Tours was founded when Pat decided to go into business for herself. We've been members of NTA (the National Tour Association) for 19 years.
