This evening hear the magical Music of Disney in Concert from the Movies at the new Kauffmann Center for the Performing Arts. Our performance today is in the elegant Helzberg Hall which seats 1600 and is oval in shape. Excellent acoustics will make your enjoyment at this production the best ever. The visual center piece is the “Casavant Freres Pipe Organ” which is one of the best in the country. Over the generations, the great films from Disney studios have generated more memorable and beloved songs than any other. This nostalgic evening features the best tunes from Disney’s most popular films and cartoons, including Mary Poppins, Beauty and the Beast, and many other jewels from the Disney vault. Gifted singers and video imagery combine with the Kansas City Symphony to create a delightful evening of music. Before the show we will stop for an early dinner on the Plaza at Buca di Beppo’s and enjoy authentic Italian food served family-style!
