Join us on our trek to Taos, New Mexico, nestled among the peaks of the Southern Rocky Mountains. The Spanish and Indian heritage of this unique community is mirrored in the charm of its pueblo-style adobe architecture. Your next stop takes you through a scenic route along the Rio Grande Canyon to Santa Fe which is steeped in history that pre-dates the landing of the pilgrims. The narrow winding streets and shaded central plaza host a wide array of historic landmarks. The journey will then lead you to Albuquerque, for two mornings at the balloon fields featuring the mass ascension of over 800 balloons lifting off in brilliant wave after wave of color, and the Special Shapes Rodeo exhibiting more than 65 special shaped balloons from at least seven different countries. Stay 3 nights at La Quinta located in Historic Old Town which reflects the genuine style and ambiance of the Southwest. Highlights: 2 Balloon Fiesta events, Tours of Taos, Santa Fe & Albuquerque, Loretto Chapel, Indian Pueblo Cultural Center, Acoma “Sky City”, Turquoise Museum & much more
