Experience the spectacular Berkshires in Western Massachusetts! Explore this region known as “Inland Newport, RI” where we will enjoy high tea at Ventfort Hall an imposing Elizabethan-style mansion built in 1893.
See inside Naumkeag, the summer “cottage” of the Choate family, this forty-four mansion is filled with original furniture, ceramics and artwork collected from America, Europe and the Far East. At the Norman Rockwell Museum you will see the most significant collection of the original Rockwell art such as the favorites from the Saturday Evening Post covers.
Visit the Hancock Shaker Village to see their historic buildings, craft demonstrations and end the day with a special candlelight Shaker dinner listening to Shaker music. Stop at the Berkshire Scenic Railway Museum and take a short narrated train ride on a vintage train.
Tour includes an overnight in historic Lexington, MA and includes a guided tour of Boston to see Quincy Market, Faneuil Hall Marketplace, plus famous sites in Lexington and Concord. Dine out at the historic Jimmy’s Harborside in Boston and the New Boston Inn in the Berkshires, which is the oldest inn in Berkshire County.
